About Our Tours

Our tours are for all types of people who enjoy food and wine and would like to extend their knowledge in different areas and gain first hand culinary experiences.

We offer a full week of classes mixed with trips and demonstrations. If that’s too much we also offer a four day tour incorporating some of the excursions and classes. If you only have a couple of days and would like to try part of the tour we can offer a two or three day package visiting some local vendors and cooking classes leaving you with all the information you require to impress your friends with some authentic Spanish cooking. These more bespoke options are available priced upon request depending on what you would like to do. Contact us for further information.

Seven Day Tour

Our seven day culinary tour is our most complete option. This experience is for those who are interested in learning in depth about the culture and traditions of Spanish food along with an insight into how the locals live.

First Day

  • Arrival from Airport.
  • Introduction and itinerary for your stay with us. Room allocation and tour of Villa.
  • Question and Answer session with our Chef.
  • Afternoon to relax.
  • An evening of paella with demonstration and flamenco.

Second Day

  • After breakfast there will be an insight into tapas, followed by a tapas class matched with local wines over lunch with our local wine expert.
  • An evening tapas tour of Nerja around the local traditional tapas bars will give you a good insight in to the local life and language.

Third Day

  • An excursion to the beautiful “Alpujarras” in Granada where we will visit the award winning wine bodegas. Later, we will be treated to a tour of a traditional olive “molino” (mill), giving you the opportunity to see a working mill and taste the full variety of olives and oils produced and exported world wide.
  • In the evening, you will be free to do what you like from our return to the villa. This is expected to be around 7:00pm.

Fourth Day

  • After breakfast we will have a morning cookery class focused on local ingredients. Whilst preparing lunch we will be discusing how you can use these ingredients at home to wow your dinner guests.
  • In the evening, we will have dinner in Nerja as a group to give you the chance to sample some of the local cuisine. This is optional so if you prefer to take in the town at your own pace, you will be free to do so.

Fifth Day

  • Visit to a local Andalucian produce market where you will purchase fresh fish. On our return to the villa we will prepare our lunch using the ingredients we have purchased.
  • Afternoon free.
  • In the evening, we will have a tour of the beautiful award winning white village of Frigiliana where you can try some of the local tapas.

Sixth Day

  • Following breakfast we will have our final cookery class together where we will learn about and prepare some local dishes. We will then sit down as a group and eat what we have cooked.
  • Afternoon free.
  • The evening will be finished off with a bbq where we will also make some typically Spanish drinks such as sangria and tinto verano.

Seventh Day

  • Light breakfast followed by a chance to reflect on the tour and your experience.
  • Transport to the airport.
Four Day Tour

Our seven day culinary tour is our fast-track option. This experience is for those who have limited time available but are interested in learning about the origins of Spanish food along with how to make the most famous dishes.

First Day

  • Arrival from Airport.
  • Introduction and itinerary for your stay with us. Room allocation and tour of Villa.

  • Afternoon to relax.
  • An evening of paella with demonstration and flamenco.

Second Day
